Story
On 22nd September 2017 Boyer will be completing the London to Paris in 24 hour cycle challenge in aid of our adopted charity, Thames Reach.
This is an extremely demanding challenge, therefore we’ve got our most intrepid planners in training and ready for the route which involves cycling 280km over a 24 hour period, departing from London at 17:00 on Friday 22nd September and (hopefully) finishing at 17:00 under the Eiffel Tower in Paris on Saturday 23rd September. Team Boyer consists of: Mike Newton, Luan Deda, Dinny Shaw, Billy Pattison, Joe Daniels, Nigel Johnston and Sean Breslin.
Thames Reach is a fantastic London based charity that supports homeless and vulnerable people, with the aim to provide them with decent homes, and help them to build supportive relationships and lead
fulfilling lives. They support both people with experience of
homelessness and those who may be in danger of becoming homeless, and specialise in helping people with complex and multiple needs, including mental health issues and drug and alcohol problems by providing a range of services including: night-time outreach teams; hostels; day centres; health care; housing; welfare advice; mentoring and assistance with employment opportunities.
