Picture the scene... Autumn 1993. Our fresh faced hero is on holiday with his grandparents in Blackpool, and decides that he wants to grow a goatee. 

The goatee arrived, and facial hair has adorned our hero's handsome visage ever since, in a variety of styles.

The luscious chin mane currently on display has been growing since July 2015. Whilst in hospital during May / June 2015 (there was too much awesomeness for one body to contain and it had to be removed via a combination of insulin and dialysis), it was decided that the beard would be allowed to grow, and after a minor setback (threats made to harm our hero, if his face did not look neat and tidy for the elder of his two sisters' wedding), the beard has grown freely since (barring the occasional sculpt and trim of course).

Recently, Dad was diagnosed with stage 4 Bowel Cancer, which has now spread to his Liver, Lymph Nodes and Lungs. The local Macmillan staff have been incredible, and continue to be so. With this in mind, I decided that I needed to do something to repay their kindness. After much thought and soul searching, I realised that it may be time to unveil a part of my body that has not been seen in public since 1993 - my chin...
