Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 2007 unexpectedly I suffered a Stroke at the age of 35 when I thought I was invincible and this changed my life forever.

It highlighted how precious life is and also if it wasn't for the amazing and talented specialist doctors and nurses in stroke care, whose quick response and skill in finding the cause of my stroke which lead to a full recovery, I could have had another Stroke at any time and this time not be so lucky.

I owe my life to these special few and now it is time to give something back and help raise money for the Stroke Association so that others can receive the treatment I did, gain support and together fight this illness with awareness and specialized treatments that can ultimately save more lives.

Please can I ask that you support me as I tackle the London Marathon for the first time this April and kindly donate to a worthy charity that I support and owe my life to.

Many thanks,

Brian
