We have recently entered a team into the Duchenne Dash event to support a Foodbuy charity initiative. The event will raise money for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) which is a devastating muscle wasting disease and is the most common genetic killer of children worldwide. DMD almost always affects boys, it is typically diagnosed in childhood between the age of three and six. It causes all the muscles in the body to gradually weaken. There is currently no cure for Duchenne, but there is hope. Duchenne UK are at the forefront of advancing treatments and care for everyone affected by the disease.
The Duchenne Dash is Duchenne UK’s annual signature cycling event from London to Paris. The Bunzl team will be cycling 300km from London to Paris in 24 hours on 10th/11th June.
