WE'VE DONE IT! 6 days of tough, intrepid, challenging trekking to raise money for Carers UK.  We even spent one day getting drenched through and almost blown off the wall.  It's been an amazing experience with a sensational bunch of extremely fit and courageous friends. 

Together we have raised an amazing £65,000.   But we want that figure to increase!

Here's why we're asking you to support us....

Caring for a loved one through sickness is a huge challenge.  We know as we have both been carers to each other through cancer. But we're the lucky ones as we both recovered. For many the caring challenge is on going and relentless.  It is very isolating.  It is not what you plan your life to be.  Often carers end up falling sick themselves. Depression is rife. Carers UK is a wonderful charity giving carers support and advice, whilst also fighting for carers rights.  

Carers are selfless people. They don't complain or make a fuss.  They don't have pretty fluffy ears.  And as such raising money to support them is not as easy as some causes. Carers UK makes a big difference to their lives, but we need more funds to supply enough support to cope with the demand.
