London Marathon 2018 · 22 April 2018 ·

Across England and Wales, we're the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - the UK's largest animal welfare charity. We rescue, rehabilitate and rehome many animals each year and campaign and educate to prevent animal cruelty. The RSPCA is registered with the Fundraising Regulator.

Story

In June 2016 we adopted our lovely ginger kitten Momo from an RSPCA rescue centre. Momo was sadly left in a box at the side of the road at only 3 weeks old with his mum and siblings. Thankfully the RSPCA rescued them and saved them from a terrible fate. For this, and all the other wonderful work they do, I am incredibly grateful. So to say thank you I am running the London Marathon on Sunday 22nd April 2018 to fundraise for them.

If you would like to sponsor me, I would really appreciate any amount to spur me on and help me achieve my goal. But so you have an idea what your money could be funding, here are some examples of how the RSPCA will use your donation:

£30 - help them rescue a neglected animal

£60 - food, shelter and bedding for a rescued dog or cat for a week

£120 - pay for a pet to be microchipped, vaccinated and treated so they are ready for a new home
