Breast Cancer is a devastating disease, with over 55,000 women receiving the diagnosis every year. In 2019, Breast Cancer Now and Breast Cancer Care merged to form one charity (Breast Cancer Care) with the aim that by 2050, everyone diagnosed will be a survivor. 

October 2019 marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Current Scottish Women's hockey champions, Western Wildcats, are hosting a fundraiser day on the 26th October at Milngavie and Bearsden Sports Club, Auchenhowie Rd, Milngavie, with the aim of raising as much money as possible for this very worthy and relevant charity. Our fundraiser day will feature two top flight hockey matches between Western Wildcats Ladies 1's vs Watsonians Ladies 1's and Western Mens 1's vs Watsonians Mens 1's. 

Whether you are able to make it down to Auchenhowie on the day or not, this Just-Giving page gives you the platform to donate as little or as much as you desire to such a worthwhile charity. All monies raised will go directly to Breast Cancer Care to fun research, treatment and care.
