On Sunday 10th September 2023 I will be running a half marathon at the Great North Run to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society in honour of my Grandad, Derick. 

My Grandad sadly lost his battle to Dementia in August 2022. He was the most caring and gentle Grandad who could eat many, and I mean many packets of wotsits in one day. There isn't a day that goes by that we don’t all miss him dearly.

I hope one day, we will have a cure for Alzheimer’s and Dementia, but until then, we need to research and help those currently living with dementia. Which is where Alzheimer’s Society comes in.

My aim is to raise £375 for Alzheimer’s Society, and any donation would be greatly appreciated.
