In the last 4 months two  friends have died of the complications associated with M.D. Alan and Ian were twins and have lived with the disease for over 50 years. They lost their younger sister Lyn in 2000. 

The twins particularly loved Scotland and their ashes will be scattered there later in the year. So it seemed fitting to undertake this challenge in their memory, in Scotland.
