My name is David Clement (Dave to friends & family) and I have been song writing on and off for about 30 years.  For the past 20 of those years, I have yearned to release a properly recorded CD of my music, but never had the time or money to achieve it.  Now I have that opportunity, so here it finally is!

In recent years, I have lost several people close to me.  In particular, my Dad passed away in 2013 and my Mum in 2016.  Mum and Dad left me with an  incredible legacy.  They both had so much time for other people and gave this time generously to their family, friends and community causes during their lives.  They also left me with some money to pursue this project.

Given that it was Mum and Dad’s money that effectively funded this project, I wanted to be sure that I did something that would respect their memory and honour the important influence that they had on my life.  In the end, the decision was fairly easy, so I have  decided to give the CD away to people and ask them to make a donation to a Nordoff Robbins in return.

About the work of Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy

Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy employ music therapists across the UK to provide sessions for individuals with a wide range of needs. This includes children and adults with autism, learning disabilities, Downs syndrome,    cerebral palsy, emotional difficulties, behavioural problems, developmental delay and life limiting illnesses.  Most of this work is undertaken in schools, hospitals, hospices, health care settings and charitable community projects throughout the country, with additional referrals being met in the local geographic bases.

Through music therapy, the therapists make significant improvements in the educational and social development of individuals, whilst providing them with therapeutic benefits that help them to function better and which improve their quality of life.
