Remember Song · 11 November 2018

The RBL are the UK's leading charity providing financial, social and emotional support to millions who have served and are currently serving in the British Armed Forces and their dependents.

Story

Sixth form students have created this song to remember the people who made such sacrifices in all wars. They were inspired to write the song as it is nearly 100 years since the end of WWI. They recognised the need to remember the people who made such sacrifices fighting for their country, the people who lost loved ones and the soldiers who were left with terrible physical and mental scars. 'The poppies that we wear today, tell the stories of the brave. We wear them with pride to show our country's sacrifice. Lest we forget' are some of the lyrics from their song.
