Event: Moonlight Walk, on 5 May 2018
In memory of Kev Starling
We provide end of life care services to local people.

Story

After 40 years of loyal service to Covers and the timber trade our valued friend and colleague Kev Starling lost his brave battle with cancer on January 26th. So in his memory and to raise money for the palliative care of others at St. Wilfrid's Hospice, a group of employees from Covers will be taking part in the 10th Moonlight Walk on Saturday 5th May 2018 at 10pm for a 5 mile sponsored walk through Chichester with all proceeds going to St. Wilfrid’s Hospice.

St Wilfrid’s hospice not only care for terminally ill people, they also provide great support for their families too and as I am sure you are all aware St Wilfrid’s Hospice is an independent local charity, only 15% of their funding comes from the NHS, and so rely heavily on community fundraising and donors.

About the charity

St Wilfrid’s Hospice provides tailored end of life care both in the community and at our Hospice, supporting our patients living with a terminal illness, and their family and friends. We rely on the generous support of our community to raise the £8million we need each year to fund our services.
