For most of us, bereavement will be the most distressing experience we will ever face, particularly when losing someone very close. Grief is a natural process, and most people will cope with help from family and friends.  Some people however need additional specialist support and Cruse is there for them, helping them cope with their loss; helping them build resilience; encouraging them to adjust to change and helping them get their lives back on track.

Cruse bereavement support services are offered free of charge, ensuring they are accessible to everybody living in West Sussex.  As an area, we are 100% self-funded and reliant on donations provided by clients, fundraising events and grant funding.  However, raising substantial funds to meet the significant increase in client demand is proving to be extremely challenging. In order to operate in this way, we need to raise in the region of £70,000 to meet our core costs this year and any help in achieving this would be very much appreciated! Every donation, large or small will be gratefully received.
