NEWS: We've now got a blog: http://cyclismoespana2016.blogspot.co.uk/
We'll be updating this along with @lignedefrance with photos etc as we're on route as and when we can.
Three intrepid cyclists, James Salter, Steve Hackett and Jake Cope are riding about 1100 miles through Spain and climing over 77,000 feet (that's 2.6 Everests), all supported by Emma Compton in the car. We're riding from San Sebastian to Gibraltar via the Pyrenees and Europe's highest paved climb, the 3,398m (11148ft) Pico de Veleta.
We're doing the trip in the first few weeks of June in just 14 days of riding, averaging around 75 miles a day in the burning Spanish sun. The trip is entirely self funded so all the money will be going to the charity. We are going anyway so seems like a good idea to raise some money for a good cause along the way.
Follow us on twitter @lignedefrance (it's the same one from when we rode France). We [Emma] will also get a blog up and running nearer the time. Details to follow.
Click the link below to check out our route, we'll be riding for 15 days with 1 rest day in Valencia:
