Story
Hi everyone...So I have been called crazy, stupid and much more for taking on this little challenge of a wing walk, however I have to be honest, this was one of the easiest decisions I have ever made. Easy because of who I am raising money for and also the reasons why.
Sean was my amazing father in law who was diagnosed with throat cancer in the summer of 2016. After having treatment and a Laryngectomy in 2017 [ voice box removal ] things were tough but positive. Sean showed amazing strength throughout but as months went by and the cancer spread some more he became very poorly having more challenging days than better ones. Sadly it was to much and Sean passed away on 04th October 2018.
Sean was a character that people of all ages could relate too. A singer who became heartbroken at the loss of his voice. Having a partner, children, grandchildren and a huge friends and family bond, Sean was loved by everybody.
I now want to thank the Primrose Hospice who looked after Sean when times were tough, but also continue their amazing work by looking after family members with counselling support.
So with your help and myself completing this Wing Walk challenge, hopefully achieving if not smashing my target we can thank the Primrose Hospice on Sean's behalf too.
All donations no matter how big or small will be amazing.
