**The challenge has developed slightly. I am now attempting to cycle the same distance as the day of the month. For example, on 24 August I cycled 24km. 31 August can’t come quick enough.**

This time last year I was in the Beatson receiving chemotherapy following a diagnosis of testicular cancer. It was a horrendous experience, with months of treatment and sickness, followed by several months of recovery. 

But I am now through the other end of it thanks to the good Lord and the life-saving work of the Beatson, led by Dr Jeff White.

I am now cycling 10km per day (in the interests of transparency, this will be from the comfort of my exercise bike at home) for the month of August to raise money for the Beatson. This will help to fund life-saving treatment and support the expert care provided by the team of doctors, nurses, and support staff.

If you could spare some money to help me reach my target, that would be much appreciated. I want to help the Beatson to keep saving lives just like it saved mine.
