No one says a Hairdresser is quiet?? Well... I will be. On Wednesday 5th September 2018 (officially 2months after the NHS was born 70years ago, I will be working a full day in absolute Silence....

I am the owner of HAIR by Davinia in Rockwell Green, Wellington. My Saturday Assistant , Casey will be alongside me to be my voice , this will bring her to the next level of her training. Communication always makes a good Hairdresser. 

In my Salon , I have traditional sponsor forms and charity box's for your donations.. coins and paper money is perfect! 

On the day, ALL my takings will be given to Charity too. Client's will be contacted by myself prior to my event to discuss what they'd like and to remind them I'll be working in silence. Obviously, I wish for this to be a joyous occasion, so I will allow myself to laugh, ! 

The two charities I am raising money for are Musgrove Oak Children's Ward and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance. 

Oak Children's Ward have a Parent's kitchen, to make hot drinks , cook toast etc. I have a large decorated token gift box in the salon , for donations of tea , coffee , sugar ,  hot chocolate , mugs , plastic cups , squash , jigsaws , children's books , toys , shampoo , conditioner , shower gel , toiletries.... Anything you can think of to help the families needs when they have to stay in hospital. Lots arrive as emergency and have nothing with them .
