Hey 😃
So on the 26th January 2019 IMyself and Zoe are doing a 6hrs Zumbathon 😬 Our Charity we are raising Money for is very close to my heart as My Daughter only age 5 and Myself suffer from these horrific and awful attacks, I can’t imagine what my daughter must feel when this happens as I can honestly say they scare me 😟 and there’s not a day I don’t think about them . And we have no warnings so one minute we are ok the next BANG 😢
Hemiplegic Migraine.
Some of you may be thinking, that’s just a migraine headache etc so here’s just a little what we go through .
Hemiplegic migraine is a rare and serious type of migraine headache. Many of its symptoms mimic those common to stroke; for example, muscle weakness can be so extreme that it causes a temporary paralysis on one side of your body, which doctors call hemiplegia. Severe, throbbing pain, often on one side of your head
A pins-and-needles feeling, often moving from your hand up your arm
Numbness on one side of your body, which can include your arm, leg, and half of your face
Weakness or paralysis on one side of your body. The stroke-like symptoms can range from worrisome to disabling. Unlike a stroke, they come on slowly and build and then may completely go away. Muscle problems usually go away within 24 hours, but they may last a few days.
Loss of balance and coordination
Language difficulties, such as mixing words or trouble remembering a word
Slurred speech
Confusion
Loss of consciousness or coma.
So please if you can sponsor us it would mean a lot . Thank you for reading . Xxxxx
