As you all know Kellie has fought cancer for the last 3 years and faced operations, chemo, radiotherapy, blood clots/DVT's, infections, blood transfusions and immeasurable pain. Kellie spent the last 4 weeks in our local hospice fighting against this horrific disease. Kellie came home on her Birthday 31st March 2016 and had an amazing day surrounded by family and friends. Very sadly, the day after on 1st April, Kellie was taken from us and her passing leaves us all heartbroken.
Every year for the last 6 years Kellie had taken part in the Race for Life and last year had one of the biggest team of women together to complete the one in Burnley. Kellie completed this despite being on Chemo in under an hour. This year Kellie won't be with Shannon Sam, Mel, Karleigh and I and the rest of our team but she will be watching over us and cheering us on from above as we get filthy for her !!
