Charity for Kids aim is to help sick/terminally-ill children by improving their current quality of life around Hastings, Bexhill and Battle. We of course want to help everybody we can but funds are very limited therefore we will focus on areas in which we can make the biggest difference

Story

Message from my sister Lauren Coan:

First of all let me just say how blooming amazing this girl is; not only is she bringing up a very dear child with autism and countless health problems, she also fights for everyone's human rights. She will stand up against things many of us would overlook, or turn a blind eye to. She has raised money for refugees in Calais, and even drove there to take supplies. She slept in a cardboard box overnight, to raise money for local homeless people, and also volunteers with AgeUK, all while organising a support group in her children's school for parents with children who have special educational needs. On top of sll this, she spent her Christmas day helping out, and celebrating Christmas with the charity Surviving Christmas who support local homeless and lonely people.

Please take a moment to look at the great work done by Charity for Kids.

They buy specialist equipment that the NHS don't usually supply for disabled children locally. They also have a caravan at Crowhurst Park, where families can stay for a holiday if they have a child with disabilities.

ALL money raised goes to helping the local children, as all staff are volunteers.

Message from Lex:

I love my dreadlocks and worked so hard on them. I've basically gone through a journey with them and had to have so much patience with them. I'm going to shave them off, in order to raise as much money as I can for local children who really need that extra help because life is tough for them. Please donate what you can! Thank you.
