Story

Several years ago we were asked by the Forestry Stewardship Council to make a gate for one of Stella McCartney's fashion shows.  We kept the gate, always with the intention of giving it to charity.  Now more than ever, the NHS needs as much help as possible and we have decided to support the York Teaching Hospital Charity.

To buy a raffle ticket, please make a donation of £5 to this page.  All proceeds go directly to the charity.  You can purchase multiple tickets by donating more.

Once your donation has gone through, please tick the box alongside "I'm happy to be contacted by Duncombe Sawmill" so that justgiving.com can share your contact details with us and we can contact you if you win.  We will not keep your contact details or use them other than to advise the winner.

The raffle will be drawn at 18.00 on 31st May.  We will arrange for the gate to be delivered directly to you, wherever you are in the country.

With your support, York Teaching Hospital Charity is making a real difference in our local hospitals.  Patients receiving treatment now and in the future at York Hospital, Scarborough Hospital, Malton Hospital, Bridlington Hospital, New Selby War Memorial Hospital, St Helen's & White Cross Court Rehabilitation Hospitals and St Monica’s in Easingwold will all benefit from money raised.

Thank you for your help and good luck!

About the charity

York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity raises funds to help make a positive difference in your local hospital - making patients, relatives and visitors feel better and providing a level of care that is beyond that which NHS funding alone could deliver.
