On Thursday 13th December we'll be celebrating Christmas Jumper Day in the office a day early so to mark the occasion I am raising for money for Ronald McDonald House Charities by having my beard decorated!

With glitter, lights and baubles in the offing I am sure that this will be as fun for you all and it will be humiliating for me so please dig as deep as you can for this fantastic cause. 

The House in Birmingham, where I am a Governor, provides free accommodation to the families of children receiving treatment at Birmingham Children's Hospital. Families staying at the house come from all over the UK, and the rest of the world. 

The charity is totally self funding so don't think just by having another Big Mac you're helping! Every penny you donate goes to a great cause, particularly at this time of year when it feels even more important to keep families together. It costs £25 to accommodate a family for one night, families receive their accommodation for free.
