St Elizabeth Hospice improves life for people with a progressive illness. Our work centres around individual needs, with specialist support, wherever required, at home, in the community or at the hospice. Each year the hospice needs to generate £12.9m, of this 70% comes from the local community.

Story

On the 4th/5th (hopefully not also the 6th) of September I will be completing a 100km ultra walk for St Elizabeth hospice (over 20 hours of continuous walking). I signed up because I have been promised pick n mix at the rest stops , bubbly at the end, and want to know what it’s like to wear a head torch. I also feel like all I’ve done for the last year is walks (anyone else??)

I of course  also want to raise money for the amazing st Elizabeth hospice, who like many charities have had fundraising affected by covid 19 with the cancellation of the Christmas Day dip and midnight walk etc (I’ve signed up to the midnight walk half marathon for October also..)

St Elizabeth Hospice is here for people living with progressive and life-limiting illnesses. They offer expert care and support to help them, and their families, maximise the potential from the time they have left.
