Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK. We love all dogs, and the people who love dogs too. We care for dogs in need through our network of 22 centres across the UK and Ireland, finding them loving new homes. A dog is for Life, not just for Christmas ©

Story

Matthew and Paul founded Educators Running Club because they want to help their edu-chums switch off and have a little fun. Because working in education is hard.

You know what else is hard? Running the Great North Run. But that's what our two heroes have signed up to do: a frankly terrifying 21.1KM in Newcastle, England on September 10th. Why are they doing this to themselves? To raise money for the Dogs Trust, of course!

How long will it take them? Will they survive? Place your bets now, and, while you're at it, please consider sponsoring them. All money raised goes to helping God's greatest creatures.

Follow their progress by joining ERC VRC on Strava at www.strava.com/clubs/ERCVRC, and by listening to the Educators Running Club Podcast - available now wherever you get your podcasts from.

In a bit, athletes. #ERCVRC
