Save the Children exists to help every child reach their full potential. In the UK and around the world, we make sure children stay safe, healthy and keep learning, so they can become who they want to be.

Story

In the Western World we spend so much time sourcing ingredients for new recipes, trying the latest superfood or researching the best ‘new eats’ in town, but how much do we ever really think about where these come from, the people, the countries, their stories…and the fact that in a lot of these countries children are going hungry, every day, without education, medical assistance or a roof over their head.

And I want to help - I want to raise awareness of these countries and the struggles they face whilst creating recipes inspired by these countries for you all to enjoy.

I have chosen 'Save The Children' as my charity as I have found the work they are doing inspirational and often work directly with countries and their governments to affect change and offer aide.

Every Monday I will release a new recipe from around the world for the next year, so that's 52 new recipes. Wish me luck! Details of all my recipes can be found on my blog which is dedicated to FeastforFamine https://feastforfamine.blog/

I hope you have fun creating some of these recipes and that you will join me on this journey of FeastforFamine and maybe we can make a difference together, so if you like what you see, please feel free to make a donation.

Thank you

Rosalyn
