Fiona and Matthew will be taking part in the Southcoast Ultra Challenge on 31^st August, walking 25km, from Eastbourne to Alfriston.

And Phil will be competing in his 6^th Castle Howard Triathlon on the 20^th July, doing his second adult event, an Individual Starter Tri, swimming 200m (in the lake… rather him than us!), cycling 12k and running 2k.

We are taking on these challenges in honour of a much loved family member, who has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's. 

We hope to make a difference for dementia sufferers by supporting the valuable work of the Alzheimer's Society, the UK's leading dementia charity. They provide information and support, fund research and are endeavouring to create a more dementia-friendly society so people with the condition can live without fear and prejudice.
