South Coast Challenge 2019 · 31 August 2019 to 1 September 2019 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Fiona and Matthew will be taking part in the Southcoast Ultra Challenge on 31st August, walking 25km, from Eastbourne to Alfriston.

And Phil will be competing in his 6th Castle Howard Triathlon on the 20th July, doing his second adult event, an Individual Starter Tri, swimming 200m (in the lake… rather him than us!), cycling 12k and running 2k.

We are taking on these challenges in honour of a much loved family member, who has recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer's.

We hope to make a difference for dementia sufferers by supporting the valuable work of the Alzheimer's Society, the UK's leading dementia charity. They provide information and support, fund research and are endeavouring to create a more dementia-friendly society so people with the condition can live without fear and prejudice.

Thank you so much for visiting our fundraising page, and for any donation you are able to make... it is much appreciated!
