Snowdon Starlight Challenge · 8 June 2019

Liverpool University Hospitals Charity raises funds to purchase specialist equipment and improve facilities for patients and staff at the Royal, Aintree and Broadgreen University Hospitals.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Please don’t feel you have to make large donations I’m grateful for every penny.

On February 11th this year our Daughter Jennie received a kidney transplant a The Royal Liverpool Hospital.

She had been on dialysis for almost two years. It’s been incredibly tough for her & without the amazing renal care teams a Liverpool & Bangor who wouldn’t be where we are today.

I was her donor so in recognition  of all they did for us I'm doing this challenge.

The challenge is simply to climb Snowdon in time to watch the sunset then descend by star light. The climb is from Llanberis so it’s quite a lot of ascent, 3,199 feet  (975 metres) over 9 miles total distance.
