Story
So with Manchester marathon being postponed till 2021 I needed a challenge to coincide with the big 40 in a few months!!!
This Ultra X event appeals to me in many ways as I know and love this area and it fits well with the training I've put in this year.
But believe me it wont be easy with 50km (31 miles in old money) in distance but also 1906 metres of climbing and no doubt a fair bit of rain!!

Reubens retreat have been severely impacted by Covid19 but have not stopped for one minute doing what they do brilliantly giving their unwavering support to bereaved parents!
I know we are all struggling at this time but any amount donated would be amazing and go a very long way.
