Story
In the last 2 years, I’ve really got into my running, primarily because it helps me like no other exercise, both physically and mentally. It challenges you to constantly improve. That said, my running has mainly been a small distance, and in many instances, never taken me too far out of my comfort zone. In 2023, I plan to run the half marathon in Paris followed by the London marathon in April 2023. Both will be some of the biggest challenges I’ve ever faced.
I decided to enter the London marathon with the charity WhizzKids. They provide vital services for young wheelchair users. WhizzKids allows disabled kids to experience just that, the chance to lead a fun and active childhood, something every child deserves growing up. Your donation will help provide the right wheelchair or equipment, along with contributing towards confidence-building experiences through Whizzkids’ activity programmes and Wheelchair Skills training. On top of this, Whizzkids also helps disabled children with employability programmes, giving them equal opportunities in life. Therefore, your donation will visibly help these children in many different ways, which is the reason I chose such an amazing charity.
Thank you for any donation you can make, I really appreciate it and won’t let you down.
