My father passed away last year after an eight year period during which he had various forms of malignant cancer. He was lucky to have these eight extra years because of the fantastic medicine he received at the Royal Marsden Hospital. Unfortunately, the treatments and attention that he benefited from aren't available to most people. The Institute of Cancer Research is working hard to better understand cancer so that it can be dealt with more quickly by more doctors in more hospitals.

The Berlin Marathon will be a great opportunity to raise money for this fantastic cause.
