Story

In Stephanie's words, 'there is a nasty virus going around and that is why everything is closed.'

Stephanie and Rebecca want to help our NHS Heros and plan to cycle four times around the block (in our local estate Hatchwood Mill) in order to raise money for a hospital that is close to our hearts (Royal Berkshire Hospital).  Stephanie wanted to cycle four times, because of her age!

Weather depending, we will do this on Saturday 2nd of May.  Stephanie will use her pedal bike (she has been practising riding it without stablisers) and Rebecca will use her 'pink scooter' (Scuttlebug).

The arrival of coronavirus is placing continued pressure on our local NHS services.  We have never been prouder to support the dedicated staff of the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust and have launched an urgent appeal to help our hard-working NHS staff during these challenging times.  The Trust is run by over 5,500 dedicated staff from doctors and nurses, porters and housekeepers, to our back office teams making sure supplies are getting to where they are needed.  They are working even harder than usual to ensure they can continue to provide the best possible care for patients and their families.
