Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My grandfather played a pivotal role in helping me to become the person I am. His grumpiness was paired with a deep love for me and all of his grandchildren. He encouraged us all to try push beyond our comfort zones and get the most from life. For that reason I am going to run the marathon dressed as a love heart in an attempt to set a new Guinness World Record.

I have chosen to support the British Heart Foundation primarily because the heart surgery and procedures my grandfather went through extended his life. This meant that we got to experience his grumpiness for longer, but also that he lived long enough to meet the first two (of I am sure many more) of his great grandchildren including my son.

Running dressed as a heart will be hard work and will make me look like a bit of a wally. Surely that alone is good enough reason to dig into your pocket and donate some money!
