Great Bristol Half Marathon 2016 · 25 September 2016 ·

We are Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance, a charity providing critical medical care by land and air, across our communities. We’re here when you need us most. But we can’t do this without your help. As a registered charity, we rely entirely on donations and support from our local communities.

Story

Our amazing friend Seanan and her lovely boyfriend Alex were in a motorbike accident recently. Wiltshire Air Ambulance (along with Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance) transferred them to Southmead major trauma centre in 12 minutes from Westbury, Wiltshire. We are so grateful to still have Seanan and Alex in our lives so we are running the Great Bristol Half Marathon to raise money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance so this vital service can carry on saving lives.

We haven't run much at all  but we have until September to run 13.1 miles. It's for a great cause so we had better get training!

Wiltshire Air Ambulance do not receive any central government funding and rely almost entirely on public donations to keep them flying. Find out more at www.wiltshireairambulance.co.uk
