ULTRA X 125 SCOTLAND for Clan Gunn Heritage Trust

ULTRA X 125 SCOTLAND · 7 May 2022
I like running, enough, it turns out, to think that running 125km (77 miles) on trails and paths around Loch Ness would be a fun way to spend a Weekend in Scotland. It won't be easy - and it is quite a long way further than I have previously ever run.
The event takes place over 2 days. The first day will start at 7:00 am in Inverness and will cover 75km (46 miles) of spectacular Highland trails in part following the Great Glen Way, finishing in Fort Augustus where I will camp for the night. The Second day will cover 50km (31 miles) following the Southern shore of Loch Ness, and whilst not as far as the first day, will be just as much a challenge on tired legs.
As the Membership Secretary of the Clan Gunn Society, it would mean a lot to me if you would like to support the work of the Clan Gunn Heritage Trust in any way through this page, I am sure it will give me some extra motivation to complete this challenge, even in the face of sore legs and Scottish weather.
The Clan Gunn Heritage Trust is the charity that preserves and makes accessible records of the Clan Gunn and maintains the The Clan Gunn Heritage Center and Museum in Latheron, in a building that was built in 1734.
