HELEN PERRY is raising money for St Wilfrid's Hospice (Eastbourne) Ltd
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am challenging myself by taking part in a Trek across the Sahara to help raise vital funds for my amazing place of work. St Wilfrids Hospice in Eastbourne provide the best nursing and medical care and compassion to patients approaching the end of their lives, those with life limiting illnesses and also support for their loved ones experiencing this most traumatic of times. I also want to give something back to the hospice for the unconditional support they have given me over the years since the death of my son.
The Trek will take place between 14th - 19th November 2019, across challenging terrain in temperatures of 40c plus during the day and dropping down to 0c at night and sleeping in tents under incredible skies. We will be accompanied and looked after by a support team and skilfully guided on our way.
I will also be participating in other fund raising events between now and the Trek and all the money I raise with go to the hospice.
