My name is Paige and I'm 11 years old. I live in Runcorn and I have 
West syndrome, a severe form of epilepsy, and a number of other complicated medical conditions.

I want people to support the charity that wants to take me and my family on a dream holiday to Disney World, in Florida.

The conditions that I have mean that I have to use a wheelchair all the time. I also have poor vision, and I have to use oxygen and I also need  24/7 daily care.

In 2016 I spent nine weeks in hospital which was really difficult for me and my parents. 

To help me get a break from all the hospital visits my mum and dad applied for a place for me on Caudwell Children’s
annual Destination Dreams holiday to Disney World, in Florida.

Caudwell Children is a national charity that provides support to disabled children and their families.

The charity started the Destination Dreams holiday in in 2007, to give 25
children, who were really poorly, the chance to go on a ‘Dream’ holiday. 

We were all really excited when we were offered a place on the trip. 

But now we've been told that because of a shortfall in funding the  holiday has been put back.

I was really sad because I was looking forward to it so much. I've been told that the families are really well looked after as the charity takes a team of doctors and nurses to look after all the children. 

They also take along over 40 volunteers to help families around the theme parks.

Because it costs a lot of money to take very poorly children overseas the charity has to pay £12,000 for each family.

We were going to go in February 2018 but now we're going in December 2018 so that the charity has more time to raise the money. 

So the families on the trip have all decided to do an appeal to
their local communities to help pay for the holiday.

It will be great to go in winter because I have breathing problems at this time of year and I sometimes get very poorly. Sometimes I have to go to hospital.

I love Disney and I can't wait to meet all the princesses at Magic Kingdom.

If we can raise the money it's going to be brilliant, I just hope that you, and other people, can support my appeal.
