The fundraising for 2024 is for various equipment still needed for William.

This year we are targeting paying off the swim spa see below for more info - we are short about £1k,

He need a crelling harness for car (as he’s grown out of his specialised car seat nearly) planes/theatre seats (tbc- circa £300).

It turns out the off road wheelchair isn’t good for off road running so we really need a proper running buggy cost tbc. But probably £4-6k.

Last years fundraising funds have been put to use:

We have now purchased an off road wheelchair (5k) (also part funded by a charity thank you to fit William so he can join his parents on more road running adventures,

We got his trike (£2.9k) so William might be able to take part in his own sporting adventures ), thank you to charities and local masons for contributing also,

a go-to firefly seat (paid for from charity pot and used thank you) / ) and final fundraising for a hydrotherapy pool swim spa to aid with William’s physiotherapy (circa 5-6k)- this has become more important with the closure of the pool we used to hire.Obviously fitting in training for all these events around both working full time and caring for William is a challenge in itself, made harder with Emma coming back from major knee reconstruction in September 2022.As the events come up, more information will be added here.
