Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Mum meant the absolute world to me and losing her hurt more than words can express. But the support of the Macmillan nurses, (despite mum not having cancer, they offered support as Palliative Care Nurses) was so vital to us as a family especially in the last week of Mums life.
Preparing for an endurance walk between international hockey tournaments has meant the training has been challenging. But this is nothing compared to the challenges families and MacMillan nurses go through on a daily and hourly basis. I hope you’ll help me in saying thank you to Macmillan for all the good they do, the support they give, their dedication, sympathy and empathy.
