UNICEF works to build a better world for every child, every day. A world where every child has the chance to fulfil their potential and grow up healthy and safe. We work in 190 countries and territories around the world, reaching more children than any other humanitarian organisation.

Story

What does a man who has never been on a road bike, spent a month out of the gym after foot surgery and left himself 3 weeks to train do for fun? Ditch the crutches and cycle 180 miles over 3 days, that's what!

None of us really know what Friday's result means but if ever there was a time to raise some money for people who are risking their lives to try and reach any country that means a better chance of saying alive, it's now! Unicef do so much great work with refugee children across the globe so please redirect some of this recently found political passion towards doing some real good and chuck a couple of pounds in to support kids that really need it!

It'll also give me the motivation to keep going on each of the three days (particularly day 1's 80 miler!) because I can assure you, 6 weeks after foot surgery, it won't be the fitness that gets me through it!

Thank you all very much!
