Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 29th / 30th August my Dad would have been celebrating his 40th wedding anniversary and his 60th birthday.  

To mark this occasion I have decided to go on a 60km run on Friday 28th August (don't usually deal in km but a bit easier than 60 miles). I am doing the run in Glasgow so there is really only one place that I can finish up :) 

For once a run wont be about getting a good time but just about trying to enjoy it and do something that is remotely fitting for the great man himself. 

I have the garmin connect app and signed up for Strava so will post up the route of the run on the evening after I complete it. 

Marie Curie were a great help to my dad, the nurses were brilliant and were always just a phone call away from coming out regardless of the time late at night.
