My name is Jeffrey Long MBE and I'm a former paratrooper now in my 88th year, I have decided to walk 88 miles to raise funds and awareness for Child Bereavement UK.

I did my first walk for charity in my 75th year, walking from London to Lausanne, Switzerland (carrying a 30kg pack.) 650 miles over 39 days of which 33 were completed on my own. Since then I have raised thousands of pounds for various charities doing the Thames Path, Hadrians Wall, Liverpool to Leeds Canal, 90 miles plus three peaks etc.  Google me to see for yourself!

Appeal supporting both Child Bereavement UK and Pot of Gold. Please support me in raising money for Child Bereavement UK, a charity who supports young people and families after a bereavement, something we will all know about. Any donations would be very much appreciated.

The Pot of Golf is the second
half of the charity appeal which will provide small grants for smaller groups, charities, organisations and local projects across the Bradford District. The Pot of Gold will be beneficial for supporting many groups and organisations rather than just one or two particular charities.
