Story
It is humbling and an absolute privilege to be running the London Marathon for Action for Children again this October. I last did in 2016, I had just turned 18, was doing my A levels and I’d just sadly lost my grandad. Not the easiest gig ever. But….I’m back again for round 2!!
Having volunteered a number of times for the charity I have seen first hand the striking impact they have on the young lives they are
able to help.
Action for children needs your donations and support to help prevent vulnerable young people from being abused and neglected during the earliest and most important years of life. They provide a wide range of support from rest bite for young carers to assisting children suffering from mental and physical disabilities. No vulnerable child is ever overlooked.
Action for Children have been generous enough to provide my family and I with places to run the London Marathon over many years, this will be the 16th year a family member has run the London Marathon, for this amazing charity. Over the years we have collectively raised over £25,000 for Action for Children, but we want to do more!
Can you spare a fiver or tenner (or more) to help towards our goal of making it to £27,500??
All those willing and able to donate please feel free to leave your insta handle to be added to private story content of my highs and lows of training. (Don’t feel obliged to if you don’t want to see any mouldy/black toe nails…)
Please also feel free to leave any hype song/podcast suggestions. 4 hours is a long time to listen to Cardi B on repeat…
Appreciate you all!
