Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are cycling across the Outer Hebrides at the end of May and taking the opportunity to raise money for Heartlands hospital.  When Zachary was 4 days old he was rushed to heartlands in an Ambulance due to an infection. Zachary spent two nights on the children’s ward before being discharged and the care he/we received at the time from the paramedics to the A&E department and on the ward itself was incredible. At such a scary time the hospital staff did everything they could to support Zachary and us as a family. It would be great to give something back to the hospital. We’ve donated already newborn nappies, bottles and clothes as new parents ourselves not expecting to be admitted we recognise other parents may benefit from this donation but would also like to raise money for the hospital itself.
