Story
Our team of walkers here at JLL will be undertaking the Three Peaks Challenge, climbing the highest mountains in the UK!
The challenge starts in Scotland where we will hike 4,409ft up to the Peak of Ben Nevis, which is the tallest of the three. From there our 4, very kind dedicated drivers will drive south into the Lake District where we will climb Scafell Pike, 3,209ft. We will then head to the third and final
Peak, which is the Welsh mountain of Snowdon hiking 3,560ft and all within 24 hours!
Our group set off on 13th September 2018, with the aim of raising money for St Peter's Hospice, JLL Bristol’s chosen charity, following the great loss of Fiona Baker, who was a big part of the JLL
family.
St Peter’s Hospice are Bristol's ONLY adult hospice caring
for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Their commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones.
All of their care is provided free of charge, but costs them around £20,000 a day to provide for which they rely mostly on gifts in wills, donations, fundraising and income from their Charity shops.
To read more about the charity, you can visit their website which is linked below:

This is a massive challenge for all participants, not only
due to the lengthy climbs but also the time frame in which we aim to complete
the challenge! And just to give you an idea, the schedule is below:
• 6am - Leave Bristol
• 5pm - Start Ben Nevis
• 10pm - Finish Ben Nevis and drive to Scafell Pike
• 4am - Arrive and start climbing Scafell Pike
• 8am - Finish Scafell Pike and drive to Snowdon
• 1pm - Arrive and start climbing Snowdon
• 5pm - Finish Snowdon
• 9am - After a much needed rest, drive back to Bristol the following morning.
We want to raise as much as we possibly can so ask that you
dig deep for such a great cause! Each walker has their own individual target, but if you’d rather donate to the whole team, donations on this page would be most welcome.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally
secure. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity.
Please also ensure that you tick the ‘Gift Aid’ box to ensure that Gift Aid (an additional 28%) can be reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer at no extra cost to you!
