In January 2014 I was diagnosed with lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. After 6 months of intensive treatment at Velindre I was given the all clear. Before I was dignosed I completed a number of triathlons and in June 2017 will be taking part in my first triathlon since my diagnosis, the cardiff triathlon, with the aim of raising money for Velindre for the wonderful work they do in giving people like me a second chance.
