Story

Joss chose do a sponsored run because this winter one of our cows died from eating plastic that had washed in on the beach, The Isles of Scilly Wildlife Trust have been amazing and done everything they can to help us stop this from happening again. They have supplied our island with a beach clean bin to help keep our beaches clean! Isles of scilly Wildlife trust is a tiny charity with a huge job. A remote archipelago 28 miles off the south-western tip of Cornwall the rugged beauty & open vistas are one of the most designated places in the UK, home to nationally important populations of seabird, rare endemic plants & provide a fuel- stop for rare migrating birds each year. Protecting 24 Sites of Special Scientific Interest, 44 Scheduled Ancient Monuments & keeping 40,000 metres of paths open, the Trust safeguards over 50% of the islands for future generations
