** WE HAVE DONE IT!! What an amazing morning jogging, diving and taking a big leap of faith all in aid of the Stroke Assocation! Thanks to all our sponsors so far, we are delighted and I know the Stroke assocation will be very grateful to us all. Thanks again and now time to put our feet up before back to work Monday! **
The James Paget Stroke Therapy Team are on the run! We are participating in the Inflatable 5K Obstacle course race on Saturday 20th October held at the Norfolk Showground to raise money for the Stroke Association. As Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Speech and Language Therapists we work with stroke patients and we all know how vital the Stroke association can be supporting our patients and believing there is life after stroke.
The Stroke association are there to help our patients and their families rebuild their life after stroke. They have a huge range of support services and groups, an online stroke support tool and a dedicated helpline 24/7.
With participants including Louise, Annie and Jenny from our Early Supported Discharge team, Jess and Nicky from the Speech and Language Team based on the ward and Sarah, Evie, Sarah, Nic, Jo, Jo, Martyn and Annabelle also on the Acute Stroke Unit on Ward 1.
(Unfortunately we couldn’t get everyone in the photo!)
The Stroke association rely on your support to change the lives of people affected by stroke and reduce the number of people who are struck by this devastating condition. Please help us to make a difference today.
