I always heard about it and knew of it, like most people out there.  As you grow older, you come face to face with many different people for all walks of life.  Some of which may have been impacted by cancer or are still struggling through it today.  The more people you meet, the more likely you'll come across someone like this.  However, you never realise how much it can affect you until it comes knocking to someone close to you, be it family or friend or some person sitting next to you on the train.  It influences you;  your perception, your motivation, your desires and your life in whole.

Too many people are affected by this.

We're just waiting for the day when this is all a thing of the past and no-one else will have to go through a similar situation.
