I’m running the London Marathon on the 28th of April 2019!!

Serveral charities helped me a long time ago, to train and to qualify as a kayaking and sailing instructor among many many other adventurous sports.

As a bit of a wild child, I have no idea where I would of ended up if I’d not of been steered in the right direction. I constantly misbehaved at school (nothing major)  and instead of teachers trying a different approach with me, they just wrote me off. 

Just because you struggle to concentrate in school does not make you a bad kid. 

After training I spent 5 years not only doing a dream job & traveling, but helping young people have the time of their lives and bring out the best in themselves. Though some of it very challenging, it’s the best job I’ve ever had. Some children were excluded from every school they’d ever been to and had real behavioral problems, but these kids had some terrible starts in life and it was such a pleasure to see their concentration and commitment to something new and exciting. 

75% of kids spend less time outdoors than prison inmates in the UK. 

It’s time to repay the opportunity I was given and this charity jumped out at me immediately.

Also it’s been 3 years since I’ve really challenged myself and done something for me! I now have a 1 and a 2 year old. I was pretty out of shape but I’m getting there! 

I was running right up to finding out I was pregnant with my first little boy and I also completed the Yorkshire 3 peaks in 10 hours for charity so I know how gruelling this will be. 

The money I raised got me through that 24.5 miles I was not going to let anyone down!

This has always been on my bucket list and I’m sure now is the time!
