Staff at Wake Smith Solicitors voted to support Weston Park Cancer Charity for their upcoming financial year. Employees at the Sheffield firm will now spend 12 months raising money for the charity through organising a host of fundraising events.

12 members of staff in particular have agreed to run the Sheffield 10k in support of a charity which provides incredible and unimaginable support to cancer patients.

Weston Park Cancer Charity raises money each year to help improve the lives of people living with cancer. Weston Park Hospital is the region's only specialist cancer hospital, providing care for thousands of patients across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and North Nottinghamshire  – a population of almost 1.8million people.

Through the dedictaed and tireless efforts of our local community, coporate partners, donors and volunteers, the charity has raised over £22 million, since begininng in 1994, to improve the lives of those fighting cancer.
